Electrical impedance tomography is a non-invasive, radiation free visualization method
The method allows to visualize distribution of electrical conductivity of biological tissues in several cross-sections of patient’s mammary gland.
No radiation exposure during an examination is very important for women of young ages, pregnant and breast-feeding women. Electrical impedance mammography (electrical impedance tomography) is included in the National Mammology Guidelines (chapter 2, chapter 8), and according to Order No.744 of 01/12/2005 of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Development of the RF, it became a standard of medical care for patients with malignant breast tumours.
